Wheeler Peak on a Fall Afternoon, Eastern Sierra
I photographed this scene in October 2024 on a windy fall afternoon. I spotted this intersection of aspen trees and mountain peaks along the side of a road while waiting for some clouds to clear. The stormy skies that day provided some patchy light which illuminated the aspens and even some of the blowing leaves high above the trees.
