Blue Hour on Half Dome, Yosemite National Park
On one February evening, I had just trudged through a snow covered meadow to the bank of the Merced River for some sunset shots, but couldn’t find the right composition. As I headed back to my car, I saw some magnificent color above Half Dome during blue hour. Despite my boots being completely soaked, I stayed behind and bracketed several long exposures to capture the fading light.
