Winter Sunrise on Mount Tamalpais
I caught this on my second sunrise at Mount Tamalpais, the day after a large winter storm in early 2021. Sunrise itself was covered by clouds that had not yet cleared. Some fifteen to thirty minutes after sunrise, the clouds began to part, and I witnessed some of the most beautiful morning light that I have ever seen in the Bay Area.
