Last Light on Horsetail Fall, Yosemite National Park
Ever since I heard about it as a kid, I had always wanted to see Horsetail Fall in February, when the angle of the setting winter sun bathes the waterfall with deep orange and red hues. I finally got the chance to witness it in February 2021, when I made several trips to the park within the span of a month. This picture comes from one of my later trips that month, at the peak of the “firefall season.”
