First Light on Maroon Bells, Colorado
I made this photograph on my first visit to Maroon Bells in November 2021. I had arrived too late to photograph fall color, but found a light dusting of snow on the peaks at sunrise. As the sun rose, the white snow glistened against the dark red peaks.
