Afternoon Fog, Marin County Foothills
I made this photograph on a summer 2022 trip to the top of Mount Tamalpais in the San Francisco Bay Area. The marine layer started rolling into the bay earlier that day, and by late afternoon the foothills were almost completely covered by fast-moving fog. I spotted this scene out in the distance and used my telephoto lens to isolate the scene.
